Coming Summer 2027!

THE MACHINE ASCENDS is a fantasy adventure novel with steampunk elements.

Vi, a junior draftswoman working on the world’s first airship, wants to be a grandmaster engineer someday. But her aspirations are derailed when she finds a terrified ten-year-old boy named Naana in her apartment. An escaped slave, Naana is an Elemental who can manifest electrical current as easily as breathing. When Vi realizes that Naana will never stop being hunted for his unique powers, she must choose between abandoning him to the hunters who would weaponize him or protecting him—for together, they could shape the future of flight on their own terms.
